Thank you for the opportunity to tell you a little bit about myself. As a real estate professional of more than 20 years, I bring with me experience, knowledge, and know-how that many other agents cannot provide.
John Denver’s classic song “Rocky Mountain High” perfectly captures my journey to Colorado:
“He was born in the summer of his 27th year
Coming home to a place he’d never been before
He left yesterday behind him; you might say he was born again
You might say he found a key for every door.”
I was actually 18 years old (not 27 like the song) when I left Philadelphia and came to Colorado to attend the University of Denver as a walk-on for the lacrosse team. By my junior year, I earned a full scholarship and was captain of the Pioneers lacrosse team. Although I grew up visiting and skiing with my uncle in Aspen, my college days solidified Colorado as my home.
I followed in my father’s footsteps and worked in the wine and spirits distribution industry for several years. After traveling between southern Colorado and the mountain ski towns, I discovered a passion for real estate. I settled into the Front Range to start my real estate career and raise my family. While I didn’t stay in the family business, I learned all my best practices from my dad. He taught me the importance of relationships: to give every client my very best and treat every person with equal value and respect. Whether you are a first-time home buyer or seeking a high-end luxury home, I will provide you with the highest level of service and gratitude.
There is something special about buying your first home, then buying a bigger home as your family expands, and finally, downsizing into retirement. As a resident of Rock Creek in Superior, I have experienced the extreme emotions of evacuating my home to escape a devastating wildfire. We were fortunate to only suffer smoke and wind damage from the Marshall Fire, but many neighbors lost everything… and then slowly began to rebuild. A home is more than a house. It is where we seek refuge, comfort, rest, and reprieve. My job… my passion… is to help you find that place.
When I’m not working, I love spending time with my wife, dog, and three kids, two of whom are in college and another a recent graduate successfully navigating the workforce. I coach youth lacrosse, play “old-man” hockey (as my kids call it), and love traveling, golfing, skiing, and hiking. I am an active member of the Boulder Valley Rotary Club and, in recent years, have leveraged my hiking skills to conquer Boulder’s five peaks in one day - a fundraising effort for teen suicide prevention.
I hope you will love your community as much as I do.
